We are Nadia Anemiche (graphic designer) and Virginie Besengez (ceramist), a duo of artists. We have created in 2012 a work called Rabbittears, as an expression of our compassion towards the victims of the tragedy which occured in Japan on March 11th 2011. The Rabbit of the Chinese calendar in 2011 is crying for the tragedy. This work, displayed on the floor, is made of porcelain bowls – which we call pixel-ceramics – drawing a rabbit shape.

The installation is presented for one month at the Museum of Art and Industry – La Piscine, in Roubaix, France (December 7th 2013–January 5th 2014). At the end of this exhibition, the bowls will be dispersed during a sell. The earnings will be used to help the populations which have endured, and still endure, the consequences of this tragedy, particularly the children who still live in the contaminated areas.
